I posted a follow up to this on this list over the weekend but I wasn't subscribed to the list at the time -- that followup is still languishing waiting for someone to notice and approve it.
In short, the problem is fixed in the current Lrp2/ CVS project at shorewall.net.
I also invite LEAF users to post their Shorewall problems on the Shorewall User's list -- I guarantee you that your post won't sit for more than 24 hours waiting to be noticed.
