Hi, OK, that buildtool looks good.
Here come the brain-dead questions :) 1) buildtool is linux only, right? 2) Recommendations for which flavour of linux to use? 3) Which packages will I have to re-compile? 4) Is there any way to keep the configuration from my existing Bering box? Referring to Q2, the only one I'm familiar with is LEAF, all the other seem vast and daunting. Are any of them simple like LEAF? OK, If: ./buildtool.pl source somepackageName downloads somepackageName and all it's dependencies and executes buildtool.mk for that package and then extracts and applies the patches. Then how can I apply the extra patches? Thanks, James. -----Original Message----- From: cpu memhd [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 04 May 2005 06:24 To: [email protected] Subject: re: [leaf-user] Bering-uClibc, are Julian Anastasov's routing patches applied? It's does not look like they're applied: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/leaf/src/bering-uclibc/apps/linux/ patches/ How about getting started with buildtool so you can incorporate those patches into your own kernel? http://leaf.sourceforge.net/doc/guide/buc-buildtool.html __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
