Go to http://www.3com.com/products/en_US/downloadsindex.jsp

Then type "3c509" into the "Quick Search" (left side of page) and click
the quick search button.

You will get a list of 3C509 types with links to download pages. Click
the "Drivers" link for your card type.

The page for your card will list "Drivers" file (i.e. 3c509x1.exe).
Click the link and save it to your system.

You'll need a Windoze system to run the self-extracting executable. Once
you run it, it will expand into several directories.

Look for the file named "3c5x9cfg.exe." You'll need to put this on a
bootable DOS floppy and run it. It will show you all your 3C509 cards
and auto-configure them or allow you to change configs.
