Hello,

I have a network that needs a WINS server, to be provided by Samba. But
I can't fit the Samba.lrp package on the boot floppy.

What I do have is a NAS device that I could store all sorts of packages
on and it's always on. I've got the module to install that will allow me
to mount SMB drives and I've been reading Debian man pages for mount.
They say that you can't mount SMB drives without smbmount, that it
generates the options for mount and you can't do it yourself.
Or am I reading the wrong man pages?

Also, do I have to put the smbfs module in the boot modules folder and
what script controls what gets mounted at boot?
Or more generally, apart from putting /TheNAS in the package locations
string, what do I do to make that location available when the packages
are loaded?

Thanks,

James.
