hey all - wierd one here... i'm running bering uclibc 2.2, have 3 workstations and a server (win2k3 and xp workstations) behind it (fixed pulic ip address), trying to get vpn connections from the workstations (usingn windows xp pptp) to a cisco vpn box (i don't have control of the cisco). for a while, i could connect from the server, but not from any of the workstations. the 2k3 server is also a pptp server (DNAT for 1723 and DNAT for gre used and works fine). playing around some tonight and now i can connect from one of the workstations, but not the server?
i've got another office running win2k3 server (behind another bering fw) and it works consistantly from all workstations/server. i uploaded tcpdump and watched the different connections, and the only thing i could see that looked odd was callid in the gre packets for failed attempts was 0 (vs an int on successful attempts)? suggestions? am i right to think its gotta be something on the cisco since i can consistantly connect without issue to another pptp box? thanks! keep up the great work! dwf ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the JBoss Inc.
