Even though I first free up as much space on the floppy as possible by deleting unneed packages and modules, I frequently find after a few edits there is insufficient space to save a modified package. This has proven so frustrating that I'm starting to modify config files by mounting the disk on my main Linux machine, untarring and ungziping the packages, editing the config files, then re-tarring and gzipping them and writing them back to the floppy.
I'd be interested in the experience (and workarounds) of others. Jim Ford1 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
