The output of "messages" is mangled and very hard to read, but there are a
few things that seems strange to me:
"reeve kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device "
Which I think doesn't have anything to do with your problem, but isn't
"normal" and:
"reeve kernel: eth0: Setting  promiscuous mode. "
"reeve kernel: device eth0 entered promiscuous mode "
Do you use something like tcpdump on that interface?
