I'm trying to setup the latest version of bering uclibc (leaf). When starting shorewall I get a message saying that /var/log/shorewall.log does not exist. I can touch shorewall.log and shorewall will start. I backup all packages. Nothing gets logged to it and upon reboot, I'm back to square one (the file is gone). I have posted to the shorewall list and Tom Eastep says this is a LEAF issue.
