What speed PC are you running your firewall on?

It may not be related but when I have a Bering uClib Firewall do a PPTP
tunnel (outbound from the firewall to another non Bering Firewall, and my
Bering Firewall is running on a Pentium 3 processor above 450Mhz the
tunnel will start but no traffic ever flows over it.

An AMD K5 works, so does a P 200, P2 400, P3 450 etc..
I know parts of the PPTP rely on PPP for connection etc...

I never have worked out why this problem happens and only when connecting
to a Windows Server endpoint or cisco box etc.. never a Bering Firewall.

As I sid this may be a red herring but who knows ( also if someone does
know I also would like to know why...)

Bruce
