just like for earlier versions of bering : I get the iso from
sourceforge, and modify the packages (via "tar zxf *.lrp") on one
computer of my network to suit my config data for my firewall (as normal
user, not as root). and then burn the new iso image on a CD.
but (again !) I had no problem with 2.4.32.
note 1 : I checked /etc : quite all files/directories have dnslog as
user except directory /etc/network and files issue, issue.net and motd
and ulogd.conf.
note 2 : on the computer where I configure bering, my user number is
502. under /etc/passwd file in Bering, this number does not exist and
the closest next to come user number (1000) is dnslog user !
does that mean that when working on the packages you MUST sudo root ? I
never found that in the doc.

Hi Pezet,
I don't know. On my system those files have the correct owner. What did
you change?
