Hi list, it is my first mail.
I try with wrt54g routers. And I think that 50mW is The best power, this
post if from netstumbler
" I'm no mental giant, but it would appear to me that the sideband noise
does not really become appreciable until one boosts past the 50 mw setting
which is almost twice the 28 mw Linksys default. Using 28 as a baseline, the
"noise" seems to increase logrythmically as opposed to being a linear
increase."
I know about WPA configuration in openWRTG. I wish configure it in leaf box
bout I' don't have EMP-8602 6G.
I hope this help.

The best regards for all.
Note: escuse my bad English I'm from Uruguay.

Ok,

So I have my leaf box up an running with eth0 working correctly. I have
gotten the wireless card up an running with the madwifi drivers and all of
the tools seem to work. My next step is to actually convert this over to
running WPA2 and bridged. Are there any instructions for this anywhere? I
have found bits and pieces of them all over the place.

As a follow up question I currently have 1 EMP-8602 (400mw a/b/g) radios. I
have noticed that iwlist txpower only lists up to about 50mW. Anyone know
why this is? Also is it possible to run an access point in both
802.11a-land and 802.11b-land at the same time with the one radio (I would
assume not)?

-Eric
