LEAF has truly been a bit of infrastructure here for about 6 or 7 years, 
quietly running my company FW on Dachstein CD and before that 
Eigerstein, with a separate box providing my authoritative DNS on 
Dachstein with Bind 8.

More recently I've used Bering-uClibc for FW as well as for OpenVPN (my 
DNS is still on Dachstein).  Nice work Bering team!

Long overdue to update DNS, and to get away from using floppy disks I've 
looked back a bit through the list archives for anything USB related,

This is a dead link, and I don't see any USB related links under HOWTOs.

Can somebody point me to any documentation re USB boot / USB media
access in LEAF?   I'd like to be able to use old hardware that supports 
CD boot, and supports USB media, but not USB boot.  I'd like to store 
configs on a write protected (hardware switch) USB flash key.
