Hello
I have a Proliant DL380R02 running Bering 3.1.1 B1 from CD and floppy.
Now i want to use the Smart Array 5i to run it from a RAID.
I have made a initrd.lrp with cciss.o, used syslinux to make the volume
bootable and copied the files to it.
When I boot the module load and I get:

HP Ciss Driver (v 2.4.60)
blocks= 35553128 block_size= 512
heads= 255, sectors=32, cylinders= 4357 RAID 1(0+1)

Partition check:
cciss/c0d0: p1
LINUXRC: mounting a 24M TMPFS filesystem...
LINUXRC: LRP= is empty or unset. Can not install packages.
/linuxrc: source: line 277: can't open /var/lib/lrpkg/root.dev.own
Kernel panic: Attemted to kill init!

My syslinux.cfg looks like:

display syslinux.dpy
timeout 0
append reboot=bios
default linux initrd=initrd.lrp init=/linuxrc rw root=/dev/ram0
LEAFCFG=/dev/cciss/c0d0p1:msdos PKGPATH=/dev/cciss/c0d0p1:msdos syst_size=24M
log_size=64M

Is /dev/cciss/c0d0p1 wrong or am I missing something else?

PS. Im no expert on Linux systems so it could be something obvious.

Regards
