Hello.

I have an old PIII running Bering uClibc 3.1. I'm using it in a pretty
standard cable-modem-NAT-setup and I'd like to add a PCI wireless card
to it and turn my router into a wireless AP. After doing a little
research, it seems like there will only be a couple hurdles - I'll
need a wireless card that will work in Linux (hard part), and then
I'll need to create a bridge between it and my "internal" NIC
(difficult but well-documented part). Then, like magic, I'll be able
to get online wirelessly. Hooray.

I think the Linksys WMP600N would meet/exceed my needs. Any
experiences with this card and a LEAF system? It sounds like people
have had some success with it in Linux and BSD, so I'm hoping it would
work with LEAF.

Should I wait until a stable LEAF system based on Linux 2.6 is
available? Would a different card work better?

Thanks!

Andy
