How is the throughput for the tor network these days? I had tried it in the past, but there was too much latency for my users to tolerate. But then again we're not Chinese, so our needs are different than many tor users.
If there were full instructions for the uninspired, I'd be interested in setting up a separate BuC box to act as a tor Middle or Exit node. I have electricity and bandwidth, but too many other uncompleted projects and school-work for blazing the trail.
