Hi,

I have a requirement for a RADIUS server on my network, for non-PSK WPA2
using PEAP/EAP-MSCHAPv2. This is not supported by the Cistron v1.6.8
RADIUS server in the existing Bering-uClibc 4.x radius.lrp. This Cistron
code is no longer being developed and the website at
http://www.radius.cistron.nl/ states that FreeRADIUS is the replacement.

Right now I am using FreeRADIUS on a Fedora machine which works OK but I
would like to explore using FreeRADIUS on a LEAF machine instead. I have
a development version of FreeRADIUS 2.1.10 mostly working (currently as
package freeradius.lrp) but in my development environment "staging"
directory there are clashes between the old and new versions of
executables and configuration files.

The easiest solution would be to retire the existing radius.lrp and
replace it with FreeRADIUS 2.1.10. The main drawback is that the new
Package would be much bigger - over 5MB compared with about 1MB for
radius.lrp today.

Is anybody using radius.lrp? If so, would you like to keep it as it is?
Would anybody not using it be interested in a Package based on
FreeRADIUS?

Thanks,

davidMbrooke
