With Erich's help off-list, I was able to make it work by changing the file /var/webconf/www/leafcfg.cgi by: 1. replacing all "<?" with "<%"; 2. replacing all "?>" with "%>"; 3. replace "<?if [ -n "$LEAFCFG" ] ?>" with "<% if [ -n "$LEAFCFG" ] ; then %>; 4. replace "<?el?>" with "<% else %>"; and 5. replace "<?fi?>? with "<% fi %>".
