Well, you don't expect that with our limited resources we'll be able to
maintain the latest release, develop a new one *and* to test packages
against releases that are a year or more released?

I get your point, but it doesn't have a high priority yet :)

Are better solution would be to provide a "packages" page, that refers
to different releases based on git tags - but it requires some work and
I'm afraid the current CMS is not much of a help to accomplish such a task.
