Andrew, Yves, Thanks you for the response. I must be a bit challenged. I just downloaded the Bering-uClibc_4.3_i486_syslinux.ser.tar.gz. and started a fresh install on a usb stick. After boot, I tired the hardware auto-detection script and it does load several modules (sch_prio.ko, option.ko, usb_wwan.ko, usbserial.ko, and pcspkr.ko) but it doesn't load e1000e.ko.
I mounted the usb drive and extracted the modules.tgz file and using the find command starting at root, I found e1000.ko but not e1000e.ko. What version of leaf are you running? Have I missed something?
