Hello, I'm trying to get an Atheros 9k based usb wifi adaptor working. I'm
using bering uclib 5.2.2 686 from the tar version.

There is an existing ath9k pci card in the machine which works fine.

firewall# lsmod | grep ath
ath9k 95716 0 - Live 0xf94ea000
ath9k_common 19662 1 ath9k, Live 0xf9479000
ath9k_hw 412322 2 ath9k,ath9k_common, Live 0xf92fa000
mac80211 534238 2 ath9k,ath9k_hw, Live 0xf9108000
ath 16731 3 ath9k,ath9k_common,ath9k_hw, Live 0xf8f04000
cfg80211 455388 4 ath9k,ath9k_common,mac80211,ath, Live 0xf8cde000

I'm pretty sure the device is recognised in lsub, there are more entries when
it is plugged in :-)

firewall# lsusb
Bus 004 Device 002: ID 0781:5581
Bus 004 Device 003: ID 13d3:3327
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002

Looking at usb modules, it seems that usbnet does not load

firewall# lsmod | grep usb
usb_storage 40388 0 - Live 0xf898f000
scsi_mod 162220 4 sd_mod,usb_storage,sr_mod,libata, Live 0xf8821000
usbcore 147813 4 usb_storage,ehci_pci,ehci_hcd,uhci_hcd, Live 0xf867d000
usb_common 1220 1 usbcore, Live 0xf85ef000

usbnet is in modules.sqfs drivers/net/usb but it does not seem to load. Is it
needed? Has anyone got this working?/

thanks

Mark Berndt
