Forgive me if these seems like a trivial question but here goes:

I'm working for a company that provideds High Speed Wireless internet for
Hotel Guests. We are trying to find a good ACCESS point to use for our
system. I came across WISP-DIST a while back and thought we might try it
out.
Here is the problem I am experiencing:
I have several brands of wireless cards I test our software with.
1) I setup the WISP-DIST on a system using a PCI-PCMCIA adapter card.
2) I'm using a Intersil Prism wireless card with the FCC ID: PD5LMWP100
3) I setup the WISP-DIST to run in HostAP (Master) mode.
4) I scan for the network using my Laptop and an Orinoco (5v) PC Card

?) I can see the TEST network under site monitor but when I setup a Profile
to connect it doesn't connect to it.

?) If I use another Intersil Prism wireless card (Same model as above) I can
connect the the network.

?) When I look in the WStatistics screen and select APLIST I see the other
card as an "AP"?? Should it not be a client?

If we decided to go with the WISP-DIST, we would like for every guest who
comes into the hotel with an 802.11b wireless card to be able to access the
system. Is this possible, or must every guest use an Intersil PC Card?

Thanks again,

Ryan Lindeman
