I am trying to find a way to add NoCatAuth gateway on my Wisp-Dist installation, but need to setup an appropriate development environment. Does W-D use glibc 2.0, 2.1 or uClib? I am trying to avoid setting up another Linux box between my AP and the internet just to provide gateway AAA. If it is glibc 2.0, anyone know where can I find an install disk for Redhat 5.1?
I know that there is a compiled C version of NoCat available, but I have had no luck getting it to work (even when compiled and run on Redhat 9!). It compiled ok, but when I started "splashd" it kept looking for peers and never stopped! Only a ctrl-c killed it. I think it is still in need of a few refinements! Anyway, I need to compile NoCatAuth files with gcc, then compile and install libglib and libpthread and finally install perl 5.1 on my W-D installation. Any suggestions?
