Shubho,

Is 192.168.1.1 your domain-name-server or is it just your router/gateway?
If you are not running a dns on 192.168.1.1 you need to enter valid ip(s)
for dns server(s). Check your gateway to see what it is getting from your
host isp. Enter those in your /etc/resolv.conf and add the appropriate ip
addresses to your /etc/dhcpd.conf.

Be sure to do a "save configuration" from the Wisp-Dist menu before
rebooting or all changes will be lost. That may be why you are losing
changes to /etc/init.d/dhcpd.
