Hello,
I'm from Indonesia and a new user of wisp-dist. I love so much for it
features and flexibility.
I'm currently using wisp-dist build 2625 with soekris board and demarctech
200mW prism2.5 based pcmcia card.
How supposed I activated the antenna diversity, i have tried without lucky
to use "iwpriv netcs0 prism2_param 24 1" and "iwpriv netcs0 prism2_param
24 1". It keep telling me "Interface doesn't accept private ioctl...".
I have tried it on my laptop running linux slackware 9 with exact kernel
and it worked with the same pcmcia i used on wisp-dist.
Tried to re-compiled the kernel, hostap, wireless-tools and pcmcia-cs but
no good.
iwpriv version is different on wisp-dist and on laptop.
This is iwpriv -v on wisp-dist (even i have replaced kernel, hostap,
wireless-tools and pcmcia-cs) :
iwpriv Version 25
Compatible with Wireless Extension v15 or earlier,
Currently compiled with Wireless Extension v16.
netcs0 Recommend Wireless Extension v11 or later,
Currently compiled with Wireless Extension v16.
and this is on my laptop running same version of file that i use to
replace the wisp-dist :
iwpriv Version 25
Compatible with Wireless Extension v15 or earlier,
Currently compiled with Wireless Extension v16.
netcs0 Recommend Wireless Extension v13 or later,
Currently compiled with Wireless Extension v16.
Does anyone had a clue ?
