The structure of the modules is briefly described on the WISP-Dist's web page.
WISP-Dist is more-or-less compatible with LEAF lrp's. Just put them on the flash and edit syslinux.cfg.
A proper way to do it is to grab the development tree from the tla repositry (see the homepage), and add your own package there.
