Any ideas what I am doing worng? I'm trying to work through this, but I don't seem to be making any progress. I'm currently trying to rebuild glibc 2.2.4 both by hand and by the .src.rpm file.
Thanks, -Brent

I was originally using Fedora Core 1. I didn't realize the GLIBC version couldn't be greater than 2.2 to build. Since then I used RedHat 8.0 but it apparently still uses GLIBC that is non-standard as I got a version error looking for a "GLIBC_PRIVATE".
I'm going back to RH 7.3 in hopes that I can build successfully on that
platform. Any hints are appreciated.
Redhat 7.3 works fine
