I've gone back to RedHat 7.2 as it appears to use the same glibc-2.2.4 version that wisp is built with, however I am still getting the following on boot:

Installation finished.
Generating POSIXness links...
Generating tinylogin links...
chown and chmod /dev...
unmounting /var/lib/lrpkg/mnt
unmounting /mnt1
removing /mnt1
echo: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: version `GLIBC_PRIVATE' noKernel panic: Attempted to kill init!
t found (required by /lib/libc.s o.6)
/sbin/init: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: version `GLIBC_PRIVATE' not found (required by /lib/libc.so.6)

Any ideas what I am doing worng? I'm trying to work through this, but I don't seem to be making any progress. I'm currently trying to rebuild glibc 2.2.4 both by hand and by the .src.rpm file.

Thanks,
-Brent

I was originally using Fedora Core 1. I didn't realize the GLIBC
version couldn't be greater than 2.2 to build. Since then I used RedHat
8.0 but it apparently still uses GLIBC that is non-standard as I got a
version error looking for a "GLIBC_PRIVATE".

I'm going back to RH 7.3 in hopes that I can build successfully on that
platform. Any hints are appreciated.

Redhat 7.3 works fine

Jim
