Hi, first of all i would like to thank Vladimir for his great work on Wisp.
I have problems with loading usb drivers to Wisp 2.4.20 kernel. I'have downloaded them (usbcore.o, usb-ohci.o) from http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/jnilo/bering/latest/modules/. The result of modprobe usbcore; modprobe usb-ohci in dmesg is following: usb.c: registered new driver usbdevfs usb.c: registered new driver hub Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000004 printing eip: c011400d *pde = 00000000 Oops: 0002 CPU: 0 EIP: 0010:[<c011400d>] Not tainted EFLAGS: 00010046 eax: d08e8408 ebx: 00000000 ecx: cece1fe8 edx: cece1fe0 esi: 00000246 edi: cece0248 ebp: 080b102f esp: cece1fc8 ds: 0018 es: 0018 ss: 0018 Process insmkhubd (pid: 2342, stackpage=cece1000) Stack: cece1fe0 cece0000 d08df9c9 00000f00 ced09f10 00000000 00000000 cece0000 00000078 c01073ad c01073b6 00000000 d08df970 00000000 Call Trace: [<d08df9c9>] [<c01073ad>] [<c01073b6>] [<d08df970>] Code: 89 4b 04 89 5a 08 89 41 04 89 08 56 9d 5b 5e c3 8d 76 00 56 <6>SiS router pirq escape (99) SiS router pirq escape (99) usb-ohci.c: USB OHCI at membase 0xd080d000, IRQ 10 usb-ohci.c: usb-00:02.3, PCI device 1039:7001 Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address fffffffc printing eip: c01130f0 *pde = 00001063 *pte = 00000000 Oops: 0000 CPU: 0 EIP: 0010:[<c01130f0>] Not tainted EFLAGS: 00010017 eax: d08e8828 ebx: 00000000 ecx: 00000001 edx: 00000003 esi: cf339c10 edi: 00000001 ebp: ced6be74 esp: ced6be5c ds: 0018 es: 0018 ss: 0018 Process insmod (pid: 2345, stackpage=ced6b000) Stack: 00000286 00000003 d08e8828 d08e8540 cf339c10 c12ff000 cf339c10 d08e35c4 d08e3128 00000000 d08e88e0 d08db9a5 cf339c10 00000000 cf2d3800 c12ff000 ced6beb8 d08ed593 cf339c10 d080d000 00001000 cffff000 c12ff000 40003031 Call Trace: [<d08e8828>] [<d08e8540>] [<d08e35c4>] [<d08e3128>] [<d08e88e0>] [<d08db9a5>] [<d08ed593>] [<d08ed7ce>] [<d08ee388>] [<d08ee388>] [<d08ee480>] [<d08ee36c>] [<c019795c>] [<d08ee388>] [<d08ee480>] [<c01979c2>] [<d08ee480>] [<d08edbeb>] [<d08ee480>] [<c0116ae5>] [<d08ee4e4>] [<d08ea060>] [<c0108bf3>] Code: 8b 4b fc 8b 01 85 45 ec 74 4d 31 c0 9c 5e fa c7 01 00 00 00 According to lsmod, usbcore seems to be really loaded, but modprobe usb-ohci ends with segfault. I've tried it on two different PC's. At least on my one the usb works fine.
