May be it has something to do with the following problem I have : --------LINUXRC PRINTOUT SECTION---------------- Pivoting... Generating default dirs... Generating /tmp & /var/log files ... Generating /dev... hda: attached ide-disk driver. hda: lost interrupt hda: task_no_data_intr: status=0x58 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest } hda: 62976 sectors (32 MB) w/1KiB Cache, CHS=123/16/32 Partition check: hda:hda: status error: status=0x58 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest } hda: drive not ready for command hda1 hda: hda1 hda: hda1 Mounted /dev/hda1 as msdos PKGPATH: /dev/hda1 mounting /dev/hda1 on /mnt1 VFS: busy inodes on changed media. Mounted /dev/hda1 as msdos LINUXRC: Installing ... ---------TILL HERE----------------- It's not likely, because I tried to move all the packets into the initrd , so it will be in memory at that stage, but the problem remains. BTW , the exact printout looks like : --------------------------------- unmounting /var/lib/lrpkg/mnt unmounting /mnt1 removing /mnt1 /linuxrcKernel panic: Attempted to kill init! : echo: No such file or directory exec: /sbin/init: No such file or directory --------------------------------------- Thank you. >What build are you using? >lata lata wrote: >> Hello, everybody. >> >> I"ve got a strange problem. >> My linuxrc script ends with kernel panic.
