Dear All. I have a friend that very newbie in networking. Unfortunately, they need to deploy some pc based internet-gateway .. they are starting a new small ISP :)
I told them to use WISP-DIST at their client's side. After couple times I show them how to use the wdistconfig ... they are very attracted to use this distro. Unfortunately they still always fail to install this distro based on their windowz boxes. Now I want to help them to make the installation procedure easier. My idea is to store a wisp-dist img to a linux live cd ... simpler is better. If i succed this process then all they need to do to install wisp-dist is just plug a hd and a cd-rom driver on the box, boot from the cd ... and I'll write a simple bash script that will do the rest. I look into BBC-LNX, I add the wisp-dis img to the ISO file using WinIso, Try to boot the injected ISO file with my VMware ... fail Is there anything I can do to fix it ? Times a go I played with hiren's boot cd, with this ISO i can inject any file to the ISO and it'll still bootable. I thing I can not do the same easy steps with a bootable linux. Basically I need I linux live cd that I can add delete a file from it's ISO. enlightment please ...
