yes it's the case! That's why I went for PEBBLE first (www.nycwireless.net/pebble/) and after I switched on VOYAGE (www.voyage.hk) both based on Debian. For pebble you need a patched kernel for the WRAP board, VOYAGE is already compiled out of the box for WRAP board 'keyb+wd11000). They are more flexible than wisp-dist I found.

What's the clue with the wrap board and the wd1100.o module and kernel? Why WispDist doesn't include the wd1100.o for wrap and a kernel with the patch in wdist-kernel-2.4.20-addons or in an own tgz.
Does really everybody which want to use this board install the build system and compile the whole thing by its own or have I missed something???
