Hello!

I recently grabbed your latest from your website, and installed it on a
p133/24Mb using a dwl-g520 (atheros). As a client it seems to work great
(routing (NAT) with a 10Mb ne network card on the wired end, I got 5.3+Mbs
throughput in "b" mode, which would be "every bit of it"), but you didnt put
any wep modules in. ;) As an access point, though it has the same problem
I seem to frequently have when I compile the madwifi driver... a client
will associate (or at least it thinks it does), but cannot pull an IP. If
you set an IP it still wont ping, (usually) untill you set both sides to
pinging each other... after a minute or so, it will just start to ping as if
it had been connected all the time... but of course, it isnt really usable
that way...

I have posted to the madwifi list a few times, but noone seems to care...
all they seem to care about is WPA... What good is WPA if the core driver
doesnt work properly... ...sigh...

Oh well... on the other hand, I wish to thank you,Vladimir, for all your
time and effort you have put into wisp-dist, as I find it a very useful
product and have several "LRPs" ("lerps" as I call them), in production use.
And find new uses for them all the time. Great work!, THANKS!!

Jerryf
