Time-handling bug leads to lost time machine

(Inspired by the recent F22 Raptor computer crash crossing the 180-
degree longitude...)
I built a working time machine and sent it back to the year 1500.
It was supposed to take some pictures. I was planning on
retrieving it from 2007 immediately afterwards. Unfortunately, I
messed up the code for the Gregorian calendar year adjustment and
now I've lost it! Help!
