We have exchanged views on what is wrong with UTC (no disagreement that something is wrong) and how to fix some of it (diverse and divergent). The problem is that no one on any side of the issue is doing anything constructive about it. Those to whom it matters have to wake up and deal with the mitigation, whatever the fate of the leap second. IMO leaving things as they are until we collaboratively decide what things can be is the least risk.
