Until LEDE will work with one CPU, I think changing buffers is irrelevant. But maybe Im wrong. Could you be, please, more specific, what do you mean "wattermarks" and buffers?

I think buffer increase helps, if the traffic is for the router. So if I will do test from/to router. But I did test trough the router /router does just forward these packets./. I have disabled firewall, unloaded all modules for conntrack... and to one Interface is the generator connected and to other is the reflector connected.

Thanks Milan

What happens if you allocate more buffers and increase your watermarks but leave the maximum latency the same?

 Hello.
 I have 2 Question, please
1. It is possible to rewrite the driver for MT761 to allow change the MTU greather than 1500? If not, why? Some scenarios need jumboframe enable

2. Edgerouter x with ubiquiti firmware has troughput between 2 routed interfaces with frames 1518B in about 500Mbit.
 256B about 300Mbit.
 64B about 35Mbit.
I did test for many frames length. I can share, If is needed.
With LEDE 17.01 is half of these values. (64B 17Mbit etc..... I did test for many frames again. - without modules for nat(conntrack..). Just with for_life_needed modules) It seems, LEDE cannot use more cpus and ksoftirq use just one. (TOP said 25% CPU load. - it has 4CPUs). It is known issue or just feature?

 Thanks BR Milan
