Note that I do plan on offering a .pkg binary installer for OS X
once we get
closer to the release.
Sounds nifty. Do you have any rough ideas when v 3.0 will be ready?
Actually, 3.0 is nearing functional completion as we speak. I've
started adding "baseline" tests to prove the usability of every
visible feature, and I've only got a few left to write.
After that comes rewriting the manual, and more testing until we're
sure it's completely stable. My guess is that this could happen
within 3 months.
