I want to get started with ledger. My thought is to prepare for my last years accounts by recording all transactions and making all my notes in ledger, eventually I want to use ledger as my recording system and generate reports that I can use to prepare expense claims and the like but need to learn to walk before I try to run.
I have this dim memory that the documentation lags somewhat behind recent development. What is the best reference material I can start with? and what is the best reference for any new additions or changes? I am aware of the pdf, the man page and the .info document. Thanks for any and all help ... Ed
