I've finally gotten around to trying the latest version of ledger, from git. (I have been using 2.6.2, from MacPorts.)
On this latest version, I get the following error message, running on the attached sample input: While parsing file "test1", line 3: While parsing transaction: > 2/29 E-trade Bank Error: Day of month is not valid for year It worked fine in 2.6.2.
