OK, so read the cmake thread properly this time. I downloaded and installed cmake. acprep update still failed so I ran cmake-gui to create a Makefile and tried acprep again, it worked! A simple test seemed to generate output so I guess we are back ...
Still don't understand how this new scheme works, do I need to rerun cmake after each update or will acprep do that for me?
