I can't decided whether this is a bug, or a misunderstanding on my part. I have had a few cases recently where a balance assertion was acting strangely. It appears that The postion of the assertion in the file stream is more important than its chronological position.
I am trying to generate a suitable toy example, but here is a word description: If an assertion for a balance on 2012/12/31 is in a file that is included prior to a relevant transaction WITH AN EARLIER DATE. the earlier transaction is calculated as if it were after the assertion. -- Craig, Corona De Tucson, AZ enderw88.wordpress.com
