John, even though you have mentioned that currency-less numbers in the ledger do not take on the default currency, is it possible to have generic commodities to be formatted with commas, and 2 decimals on the register report?
I find it cumbersome to repeatedly enter $-prefix for each and every amount across so many transactions, all of which are in a single currency. I am willing to forgo the currency symbol on the register report, but the amounts show up as generic numbers with no commas and variable number of decimals depending on the number's precision.
