Bill, You could always use Org-babel to execute a shell script which calls Ledger with your chosen files.
For instance: #+begin_src sh :results output :exports results ledger -f myfile.dat bal #+end_src Be aware that results 'output' may need some refinement, in my older version of Org that's broken and I have to set mine to 'latex' instead.
