Hi, I have been using ledger 3.0 with emacs-23 on Ubuntu for more than a year. I am currently on Ubuntu 12.10. I generally update my git clone about once a month and load the latest lisp code. Right now I am at git commit b608ed23e413aaec6024c42c453f8cd9854498d7
I noticed the following issue. I want to add a new entry as such 1 03/16 Online video subscription 2 ; subscription fee for March 2013 3 11:23:00 -$7.99 4 91:27:04 $7.99 The first column is showing line numbers only for describing the issue. In my actual ledger register, I don't have the first column and the 03/16 has no white space before it. When I start typing 11 on line 3, the cursor flies on over to the right. Tab completion *appends* a new "matching" account to the current value instead of replacing it. This goes on until I type the decimal point in $7.99. At this time the account name/number completely disappears and all I see is -$7.99 hanging to the right like such 3 -$7.99 The undo is equally confusing and I haven't figured out what is actually happening It probably has something to do with my account names. For various reasons, I don't use standard names like Assets:Bank:Checking, but use account number heirarchies like "1100:240:493:1" etc. exclusively. Any tips on how to correct this would be appreciated. Thanks, cb -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ledger" group.
