Any idea why ledger-cli isn't on the list? Has anyone submitted it before?

A shocking omission! I really appreciate you leading the charge to fix
it. :)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ledger_%28software%29 is ledger's own
wikipedia page, and it's endangered. Perhaps the first step is to rescue
that. Marketing army, arise! To the breach!

PS: Harshad, I understand your cautiousness, but what you already did - announcing the status and inviting others to help - is good, and even doing just that periodically would be quite valuable.

All: I'm no WP expert but here's what I found out from at wikipedia just now by following the handy links to their superb docs.

Two years ago the Ledger article was tagged for insufficient notability. We didn't improve it, so two weeks ago it was tagged for deletion. That normally happens after about a week, but on september 13th the vote was extended for another week of discussion. Deletion requires (some kind of) consensus, and the vote currently seems to be split. Craig and some others have been participating. It's now september 20th, so if we want to keep this page, quick action is needed. Basically, find and document more citations of ledger (which meet WP's guidelines). More editing and updating of the page might also help, but establishing notability is a priority.
