Since C++11 has now been out for roughly 3 years, I'd love to move the codebase to it permanently, in order to start using a lot of the convenience features like "auto", lambdas, string conversions, and move constructors.
Are there any objections? Is anyone on a major platform that does not have access to a C++11 capable compiler?
