The most recent version of ledger do work with boost versions from 1.49 and
up.

You can try this:

Delete the ledger directory and clone it again. Go into the CMakeLists.txt
file and change this line:

add_definitions(-std=c++11)

to:

add_definitions(-std=c++11 -U__STRICT_ANSI__)

Then run:

./acprep --python update

and see if that works.
