It has been a few years since I dived into the C++. I am working on the emacs output code. For some reason ninja doesn't recompile anything if I update the emacs.cc source file and type "ninja".
If I clean everything, then it builds fine, but it doesn't seem to notice an updated source file. Did something change about using ninja? FWIW, I tried using make and it also didn't recompile the updated source file. I used 'acprep gitclean' to make sure I had a good baseline.
