Many moons ago John said we should do a 3.1 release once the cost basis and capital gain/loss fix (bugs #712 and #713) goes in. That fix has been in git for a while now and I haven't heard about regressions.
John, any objections to tagging 3.1 soon? Craig, anything from your side that should go in? It would be nice to update doc/NEWS before we tag 3.1.
