Comment from the peanut gallery... It seems a lot of what's going on here is rather depressing because Craig is writing a second ledger parser in emacs. I wonder if there might be a way to have one syntax definition that could be used to generate both the C++ and the emacs parsing code? I'm sure it's been shot down before, but I wanted to mention it. (As a programmer I hate seeing things implemented twice instead of once.)
