Hi; I have backed out the work on the common.pl redirect for 1.3.22. At this point I haven't seen any evidence that this is a 1.3 problem and am concerned about breaking code in 1.3.22.
There are a lot of paths that could be possibly affected and I don't see this being a good thing to add to 1.3 at this time. I have also reviewed the cases and I can't find any case where this is likely to fix a problem in 1.3.
