Ok, CSV import of bank transactions has sample code which works (based
closely on what is working for one of my customers) but the problem you
will run into is that it isn't really suitable for initial import. This is
for cash reconciliation only and so it is for on-going usage, not initial
import.
We also have an addon that is capable of importing *very simple* AP batches
and relatively complex GL transactions. This is again working for a
customer of mine in production, but again the use case isn't really for
initial import.
For an initial import scenario, the first thing we'd need to establish is
what information you have extracted in CSV format and what the columns
represent. From there I can start to make suggestions as to how to get
this into LedgerSMB. The existing CSV import code however is probably a
bad place to start because it is aimed at relatively specific use cases of
a different nature.
